These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CarBrim platform, including all vehicle history reports, services, and products (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using CarBrim, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Services.
CarBrim provides vehicle history verification reports sourced from third-party data providers, including but not limited to ClearVin and data originating from systems such as NMVTIS and NVS.
The reports may include ownership history, accident and damage records, theft records, flood damage, import/customs status, lien records, and other vehicle-related data.
CarBrim does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information provided.
All CarBrim reports, including ClearVin-powered reports, are provided strictly for internal, informational, and decision-making purposes only. You agree that you will not:
Any unauthorized use constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
CarBrim integrates data from third-party providers, including ClearVin. By using our Services, you acknowledge that vehicle reports may include data provided by ClearVin and its upstream data sources, and that CarBrim acts solely as an intermediary platform.
You acknowledge that ClearVin vehicle reports are:
ClearVin owns all rights, title, and interest in and to its vehicle reports, including all intellectual property rights, trademarks, and proprietary content. CarBrim retains all rights to its platform, branding, and technology. You agree to protect the proprietary nature of all reports and not to infringe any intellectual property rights.
⚠ Important NMVTIS Notice: Certain data within vehicle history reports may originate from the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS), an electronic system that contains information on certain automobiles titled in the United States.
NMVTIS is intended to serve as a reliable source of title and brand history but does not contain detailed information regarding a vehicle’s repair history. Not all states currently provide data to NMVTIS, and reporting timelines may vary from real-time updates to delays of several days.
Information on previous significant vehicle damage may not be included if the vehicle was never classified as a “total loss” or branded by a state agency. Conversely, some vehicles may be reported as “total loss” by insurance providers even if not classified as salvage or junk by a state.
NMVTIS data may include information from state motor vehicle agencies, insurance companies, and junk or salvage yards, including vehicle brands, odometer readings, and total loss history where available.
A vehicle history report is not a substitute for an independent vehicle inspection. You are strongly advised to obtain an independent inspection before making any purchase decision.

Lien and related vehicle data within reports may originate from the National Vehicle Service (NVS) via ClearVin. Such data is provided “as is,” and while efforts are made to ensure accuracy, some lien holders and jurisdictions do not report to NVS. Records may therefore be incomplete or outdated.
ClearVin makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of NVS data. CarBrim similarly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on such data.
All Services and reports are provided “as is” and “as available.” CarBrim and its data partners make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Reports should not be the sole basis for purchase or financial decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CarBrim shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including losses arising from reliance on vehicle reports or decisions made based on them.
By using the Services, you assume full responsibility and risk and waive any claims against CarBrim and ClearVin arising from inaccuracies, incomplete data, or decisions made based on reports. Neither CarBrim nor ClearVin shall be required to indemnify you for any losses.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CarBrim, its partners, and data providers from any claims or liabilities arising from misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or unauthorized distribution of reports.
You agree to provide accurate information, use the reports responsibly, and conduct independent verification before making any vehicle purchase decision.
CarBrim reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or suspected misuse, at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
CarBrim may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
